웹기반 학습 시스템에서의 평가 방법 탐색 = Alternative Evaluation in Web Based Learning System

국문 초록 (Abstract)

웹기반 학습 시스템에서의 전통적인 평가 방법은 주로 학생들의 학업 성취를 측정하는데만 치중하였고, 웹이 가진 다양한 장점들의 활용이나 동기적인 측면이 충분히 고려되고 있지 못하다. 웹기반 학습 시스템에서의 전통적인 평가 방법의 문제점을 해결하고 웹의 장점을 활용할 수 있는 방법으로객체 방식을 활용한 '객체 지향 웹 평가 노드'가 제시되었다. 이 글에서는 객체 지향 웹 평가 노드의 특성과 설계 방법, 객체 지향 웹 평가 노드를 평가에활용한 예를 제시하였다. 객체 지향 웹 평가 노드에서는 학습자가 다양한 평가 문항을 직접 선정하고 달성 여부를 다양한 기준으로 평가할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Nowadays, the typical web based learning system has focused on the measurement of students' achevement. However it does not appropriately use the web characteristics and motivational aspects for designing evaluation activities of the system. This study is to demonstrate alternative evaluation technique utilizing Object-Oriented Programming.
The features of this prototype are composed of six parts : (1) target audience (2)audience' s behavior or results (3)questions related to behavior or results (4) criteria related to the questions (5)control bar for the questions (6) control bar for the criteria.
The procedure for alternative evaluation are as follows: (1) determine who would be evaluated. (2) determine what aspects of whom would be evaluated. (3) identify many questions related to behavior or results in controlling 'question association bar" (4) establish criteria to the related questions in controlling 'criteria association bar". If an evaluator finds many questions and criteria, write down evaluation results based on the questions and criteria.
In conclusion, this alternative evaluation approach in a web based learning system may promote the aspect of motivation in evaluation, conduct a variety of evaluation activities such as program evaluation, evaluation for teacher and schools.
