한국 조정경기의 변천사(1945-2007) = History of Korea’s rowing(1945-2007)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find a vitality devices through historical illumination of Korea's rowing. It is to implicate the promotion of the future korea Amateur rowing association. Korea's rowing has been held as a physical education policy of Japan until 1945 since the inflow in 1916. Since the Declaration in 1962, the KARA had made a sustained effort to foster leaders, and regional teams and regional competition teams and to supply rowing boats until the 70s. However, since the medal obtainments in the official sport in the 1982 New delhi Asian game and the several successful openings of international competitions had led Korea to focus on fostering the elite sports since 1980. Nevertheless, unlike the Western countries, korea's rowing has failed at the popularity of the rowing competition due to the too much emphasis on the elite sports. Thus, it requires variety of changes in the expansion of the better future of the Korea's rowing.
