      The current medical society has been undergoing various changes. Especially patients' expectation toward hospital services has been raised and a number of hospitals have strived to provide quality of the better services.
      Therefore improving quality of patient-oriented clinical service, we asked the questions of 200 outpatients waiting time for their medication. And also we surveyed the time interval actually taken to receive medicine after issuing prescription by doctors. Then to reduce waiting time, we tried working hour shift to start 30 minutes earlier and even lessening time for lunch.
      As a result, mean waiting time was 17.5 minutes and 73.5% of patients could get the medicine within 20 minutes. But it was not enough to achieve our purpose.
      We suggest that the cooperation of staffs was needed beyond the efforts of pharmacy alone.
