Purpose: Multicultural population in Korea is 1.74 million, 3.4% of the total population in 2015. As a result, the children with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds(CLD) is also rapidly increasing. Accordingly, government departments are providing various support services to children and their families. Representative one is the language development support program for children with CLD, which started in 2009. The purpose of this study was to explore language developmental supports(LDS) ‘needs serving on children with CLD and to discuss the results of this study in various aspects. Methods: For this study, a questionnaire consisting of participant characteristics and challenges. 197 LDS participated in the survey and the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: Of the 197 LDS, 72.6% answered that they provided services to bilingual children and reported that they had challenges in communicating with parents and shortage of sources. Referred children in frequency were mostly immigrants, multicultural children, and foreign students in order. Conclustion: The results of this study seem to require detailed discussion.
