체육재정 연구동향 분석 = An Analysis of the Research Trend in Sport Public Finance

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial studies of Korea sport and suggest the directions of Korean sport policy studies. 37 sport finance research papers were gathered through keyword(sport, physical education, finance, budget, korea sport promotion fund) searching.
The notable results of this research were the followings; Since 1994, sport public finance research papers have been published almost every year more than 1 piece. The papers reflected social circumstances and the subjects of the study were mainly of the Korea Sport Promotion Fund, central (sport) government, public sport service providers. So, it seems that sport public finance is becoming an academic research area of sport policy studies. Another finding was that sport public finance studies were influenced by government, political, social, administrative issues and subjects and areas were actualized under the sport policy field. In the case of authors, sport public finance papers were mostly written by a single writer. Also studies of sport public finance are published in variety of journals. But surprisingly, The Journal of Korean Society of Sport Policy(KSSP) didn`t showed a lot of research papers, even though it changed its name to "Sport Policy". In addition research method of korean sport public finance studies widely used literature review and descriptive statistics.
In order for sport policy to take a major step forward, dynamic studies handling sport fund, central government and data based policy effect analysis needs to be linked with sport public finance. Also the finance is an outcome and an evidence of a policy decision. So for rational analysis of sport policy and research, support and administration is needed at the central government level regarding budget structure, sport public finance statistical programme.
