Objective : The purpose of this study was to identify the usability of the Korean Assessment of Motor and Process Skills(K-AMPS) in assessment of motor skills of clients with stroke.
Methods : According to research purpose, the effectiveness of Activities of Daily Living tasks performance from the K-AMPS reports was identified, then content validity and inter tasks reliability of the K-AMPS was analyzed statistically through Spearman Correlation Coefficients.
Results : From the results, the quality or effectiveness of ADL tasks performance was shown, and the correlation of the K-AMPS and the MFT was statistically significant on total score in both tools. But, there was no significant correlation between the K-AMPS total score and some subtests score of the MFT. There was statistically significant correlation between two tasks in the K-AMPS.
Conclusion : To consider the advantages of the K-AMPS results reports, low correlation coefficiency between the K-AMPS and the MFT, and high inter tasks reliability of the K-AMPS, the K-AMPS can be useful in measuring motor skills of clients with stroke.
