      A Michelson interferometer was used for the purpose of measuring the refractive
      index of air as a function of its respective pressure.
      The He-Ne laser was used as its light source.
      Following empirical relationship between refractive index and pressure was
      deduced from experimental data, as shown below,
      n=1+(3.5±0.1)X10^(-7)·P
      The calculated values of index of refraction for air at 1 atmospheric pressure
      is n_(air)=1.00027, which are in good agreement with its found in the
      literature.
