개혁주의 관점에서 본 총체주의에 관한 신학적 고찰 = Theological Consideration of Holism with a Reformed Theology Perspective

국문 초록 (Abstract)

세계 복음주의 선교운동(the global evagelical missions mo- vements)은 열방을 참여시키기 위한 틀로서 총체주의, 즉 “총체적선교”를 수용했다. 대다수 복음주의 선교학자들은 이런 신학적 발전이 과거 에큐메니칼 선교대회가 걸었던 그들의 옛 발자취를 따르는 실수라고 지적한다. 이것은 교회의 사명에 있어서 복음전도와 사회적 행동 사이의 관계에 대한 선교신학적 재론이 필요함을드러낸다. 이 연구는 단순히 근본주의적 관점에서 총체적 사역들(wholistic missions)을 무시하거나 교회의 선교에 있어서 분리할목적이 아니다. 반대로 수정주의 총체주의(revisionist holism)처럼 복음전도와 총체적 사역을 동등하게 인정하기 위함도 아니다. 본 논문의 연구 동기는 총체적 선교가 교회가 지향해야 할 본유적(ontological)인 선교의 목적이 될 수 있는가에 대한 신학적 답변을 발견하는 데 있다. 이런 이유로, 본 논문은 복음의 우선성을 주장하는 우선주의(Prioritism)와 총제적 선교(Wholistic Mission)를 강조하는 총체주의(Holism) 간의 개념적 차이를 밝힌 후 개혁주의 신학의 관점에서 총체주의를 비평적으로 고찰한다. 결론적으로 저자는 교회의 선교가 본질적으로 복음전도를 지향해야 하며, 이를 위해 총체적 선교는 복음전도를 위해 방법론적으로서 실천적 사역이되어야 함을 주장한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The global evangelical missions movements has, as a tool to activate federalism, accommodated holism or “wholistic mission.” The majority of evangelical missionaries point out that this theological development is a mistake that followed the old footsteps of past ecumenical mission conventions. This reveals the need for a reexamination of the mission theology regarding the relationship between evangelism and social action in the mission of the church. This study is not intending to simply ignore wholistic missionary works from a fundamentalist per spective or to separate them from the mission of the church. This study is also not intending to do the opposite; to equally recognize, like revisionist holism, evangelism and wholistic ministry. The motivation behind this research paper lies in discovering a theological answer to the question of whether wholistic missions can become the ontological missionary goal that the church should pursue. For this reason, this paper reveals the conceptual difference between Prioritism, which asserts the priority of the Gospel, and Holism, which emphasizes Wholistic Mission, and then critically examines Holism from the perspective of Reformed theology. In conclusion, the au thor argues that the mission of the church must essentially be oriented towards evangelism, and to this end, wholistic mission must methodologically be a practical ministry for evangelism.
