In this study, research was carried out to improve the performance of the shell and tube type super-heater. Design parameters are as follows: the location of the inlet and the outlet port for coolant side, the arrangement of tubes and the number of tubes, the interval between baffles and the number of baffles. In conclusion, the heat transfer performance increased by 21% and pressure drop of exhaust gas decreased by 28.3%.
