ICT를 활용한 미술 감상수업 지도방안연구 : 중학교 3학년을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

IT(Information Technology)강대국인 우리나라에서는 이제 교육에서도 정보통신기술을 활용한 교육방법에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 그것은 제7차 교육과정에서 지식정보화시대에 부응하여 ICT(Information & Communication Technology) 활용교육의 발전에 힘쓰고 있기 때문인 것이다.
그러므로 지식 정보화 시대로 대변되는 현대사회에서는 학습자 중심의 교육과 자기 주도적 학습이 강조되면서 미술 교육에서도 체계적인 학습을 위한 다양한 매체와 그것의 활용을 추진하고 있으며 이를 위하여 ICT를 활용한 수업이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 급격한 인터넷 시설의 도입으로 수업현장에서의 ICT의 활용이 적극적으로 시도되고 있으나 미술 감상수업의 경우 교사들의 소양부족과 하드웨어적, 소프트웨어적 문제와 한계가 적지 않아 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다.
이에 본 연구는 ICT를 활용한 미술 감상수업에서 많은 정보를 바탕으로 자료수집이 용이한 웹사이트를 분석해 보았다. 그것은 미술 감상이 가능한 미술관련 홈페이지와 온라인 커뮤니티사이트 즉, 개인미디어인 미니홈피와 카페, 클럽 등을 미술 감상수업에 활용한 것이다.
본 논문에서 활용한 웹사이트는 작품 감상을 위해 전문적인 기술을 요구하는 프로그램 개발이 필요 하지 않다. 따라서 누구나 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 미술관련 홈페이지와 커뮤니티 사이트를 활용하는 것이다. 그것은 양질의 자료들을 미술관련 홈페이지를 통해 다운받을 수 있을 뿐 아니라 커뮤니티 사이트로 자료들을 공유하고 의견을 주고받으며 미술 감상수업을 진행 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 커뮤니티 사이트의 경우 관계형 대화가 가능하여 정보교환 및 수집이 편리하다. 쪽지나 미니홈피 방명록 등을 활용하여 학생들 스스로가 보유한 미술작품자료와 자신의 견해를 게시판에 올려 미술작품에 대한 비평능력을 키워주고 보다 생활에 밀접한 접근을 가져 다 준다고 할 수 있다.
이러한 웹사이트의 특성을 활용해서 새로운 장르의 미술작품을 접하고 미술의 다양한 분야를 학생들에게 감상할 수 있는 기회를 주어 미술 감상수업에 활용 할 수 있는 것이다.
그러므로 빠르게 변화하는 정보화시대의 미술교육에서 미술관련 홈페이지와 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트의 활용은 미술 감상교육에서 간접적인 작품 감상을 통해서 시?공간을 넘나들며 폭넓은 교육이 이루어지게 하는 적극적인 방법이라 할 수 있다. 또한 미술 감상수업에서 작품의 비평과 토론을 통해 다른 사람의 생각과 의견을 교류하는 실질적이고 효율적인 연구라 할 수 있다. 특히 학습자는 스스로 감상 작품과 자료들을 관찰, 수집하여 학습하는 자기 주도적 학습능력을 키울 수 있다는 것이 큰 장점이다. 이것은 흥미유발과 동시에 자발적 학습이 이루어지도록 한다는데 의미가 있으며, 주체성을 가지고 생활 속에 미술을 감상할 줄 아는 전인적인 인간으로 성장할 수 있는 지도방안인 것이다.
본 연구에서는 ICT 활용교육과 웹사이트의 분석을 바탕으로 실제 중학교3학년 미술 감상 수업에 적용할 수 있는 학습지도안을 제시하였다. 하지만 하나의 수업모형이 제시되었다고 해서 그것이 최상의 방법일 수는 없다. 보다 발전된 미술 감상지도가 이루어지기 위해서 교사들은 기존의 선행논문에서 보여준 연구의 장점들을 받아들이고 부족한 부분을 보완하는 등의 끊임없는 노력과 개발이 필요 할 것이다. 그것이 선진화된 미술 감상교육을 위해 한걸음 나갈 수 있는 길이라 할 수 있다.

In Korea, powerful in IT(Information Technology), attention is now focused on the teaching strategy that uses information & communication technology. It is because the 7th curriculum makes an effort in ICT(Information & Communication Technology) applying education complying with the demand of the age of knowledge and informatization.
Therefore in modern society that speaks for the age of knowledge and informatization, learner-oriented education and self-initiative learning are emphasized. In the area of arts education too, it is promoted to use various medias for a systematic learning. In that respect, ICT-applying class is actively carried out. Accordingly with the internet equipment rapidly introduced, it is actively tried to utilize ICT on teaching site. The area of fine arts appreciation class, however, is going through hardships because of teachers' insufficient elementary knowledge and problem and limitation of hardware and software.
Therefore this study analyzed web sites easy to collect data based on much information for ICT-utilizing arts appreciation class. Arts-related home pages where arts appreciation is possible, online community site usable at home, that is, individual media, mini homepage, cafe and club, these all might be used for arts appreciation class.
The web site this study utilizes does not demand to develop a specific technology for appreciation of works. Therefore the community site is utilized where it is free to make arts-related or individual home page everyone can use easily. The merit is that fine materials are downloadable through arts-related home page as well as arts appreciation class is progressed while sharing materials and exchanging opinions. In case of community site, relational dialogue is possible and it is easy to exchange and collect information. Students themselves put their own opinions or materials of artistic works on the notice board using tag, mini homepage or visitors' list, so that critical ability of artistic works can be improved and accessability to life can be easier.
Application of this characteristics of community site might contribute to the establishment of internet culture by letting students contact with artistic works of new jenre and appreciate various fields of arts.
Therefore in the rapidly changing era of informatization, utilizationof arts-related homepage and online community site can be an active method enabling education with wide latitude crossing the time and space through an indirect appreciation of works. It can be also a practical and effective research in arts appreciation class to exchange thoughts and opinions with other persons through critics and discussion of works. Especially the merit of students is that they can develop self-initiative learning ability by observing, collecting and learning appreciation works and materials for themselves. Therefore this plan is significant in that it causes interesting and enables the self-initiative learning. This teaching plan can cultivate a whole man who can enjoy works of fine arts in life with identification.
This study presented the teaching plan applicable to arts appreciation class for middle school 3rd graders based on the analysis of web sites and ICT-utilizing education. However, presentation of a teaching model alone can not be the best method. To make more developed instruction of arts appreciation, teachers should make constant effort receiving merits of previous studies and complementing what is lacking. It must be a way to progress a step further to advanced arts appreciation education.
