국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 연구자의 석사과정 졸업 연주 프로그램을 바탕으로 샤를 마리 비도르 (Charles-Marie Widor, 1844-1937)의 <Introduction et Rondo for Clarinet and Piano, op.72>, 요하네스 브람스 (Johannes Brahms, 1833-1897)의 <Clarinet Sonata No.2 in E flat Major Op.12>, 프란츠 슈베르트 (Franz Schubert, 1797-1828)의 <“Der Hirt auf dem Felsen”,(The Shephered on the Rock), D.965 (op. 129)>, 죠셉 호로비츠 (Joseph Horovitz ,1926-2022)의 <Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano>에 관한 연구이다. 오르가니스트이자 작곡가인 샤를 마리 비도르 (Charles-Marie Widor, 1844-1937)의 <Introduction et Rondo for Clarinet and Piano, op.72>은 클라리넷이 지닌 폭넓은 음역과 화려한 음색 및 기교를 보여주는 낭만주의적 표현주의적 작품이다. 요하네스 브람스 (Johannes Brahms, 1833-1897)의 <Clarinet Sonata No.2 in E flat Major Op.12>는 베토벤의 고전주의적인 전통적 음악 양식과 낭만주의적 감정적 특징
을 융합한 ‘고전적 낭만파’에 속하는 브람스의 곡으로, 브람스 24개의 실내악 곡 중 마지막 작품이다. 이 작품을 통해 브람스의 음악적 특징을 살펴보려 한다. 프란츠 슈베르트 (Franz Schubert, 1797-1828)는 31년이란 짧은 생애 동안 600여곡 이상의 작품을 남겼으며, 사망하는 해에 성악, 피아노, 클라리넷을 위한 곡인 <Der Hirt auf dem Felsen,“The Shephered on the Rock”,D 965 (op. 129)>을 남겼다. 목동의 심리에 따라 변화하는 조성과 가사의 흐름에 따라 클라리넷의 오블리가토 (Obblgato)1)의 쓰임과 클라리넷이 작품에서 어떤 역할을 하는지 연구해보고자 한다. 죠셉 호로비츠 (Joseph Horovitz ,1926-2022)는 영국을 대표하는 20세기 현대 작곡가 중 한 명으로, 그가 위촉받아 작곡된 <Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano>는 3악장의 구성으로 이루어져 있다. 3악장으로 구성되어 고전적인 형식을 따르며, 각 악장마다 리듬과 멜로디에 재즈와 팝적인 특징이 나타난다. 이 곡을 통해 악장별로 녹아있는 현대적인 재즈와 팝의 특징을 살펴보려 한다.

The purpose of the study The purpose of this research is to research researcher’s master’s degree graduation recital program : Charles-Marie Widor, 1844-1937) <Introduction et Rondo for Clarinet and Piano, op.72>, Johannes Brahms, 1833-1897) <Clarinet Sonata No.2 in E flat Major Op.12>, Franz Peter Schubert, 1797-1828) <“Der Hirt auf dem Felsen”,(The Shephered on the Rock), D. 965 (op. 129)>, and (Joseph Horovitz ,1926-2022) <Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano>.
Charles-Marie Widor’s <Introduction et Rondo for Clarinet and Piano> is romanticism music, made with unconstrained art of composition and expressionistic, and it well shows fancy technique and wide register of clarinet.
Johannes Brahms’s <Clarinet Sonata No.2 in E flat Major Op.12> is his last chamber music, and it is concise and simple. Its composition is traditional sonata and, is made of three movement with Exposition-Development-Recapitulation and is using compound three part form, and variation. Melodious wide register, chromatic progress, nonharmonic tones, and irregular rhythm makes the composition fancy mood, and it also shows romanticism characteristics. Brahms expresses his own color by adding the traditional form of classical music and the expression of romantic music.
Franz Peter Schubert, 1797-1828) <“Der Hirt auf dem Felsen”,(The Shephered on the Rock), D. 965 (op. 129) > is made of clarinet, vocal music and piano, and clarinet’s meoldy is used as Obligatto. Clarinet is not only used as accompaniment, but also used as main melody, expression lyrics, changing psychology of shepherd and natural landscape, and leading with vocal. Harmony of voice and Clarinet’s Obligatto is the main theme of the composition.
Joseph Horovitz’s <Sonatina for Clarinet and Piano> stands out 20th century’s Jazz and pop melody and rhythm out of classical three movement form. It shows combination of modern melody and traditional form
