다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 청소년의 학교 적응에 미치는 영향: 부모효능감의 조절효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 청소년 학교적응에 미치는 영향관계에서 부모효능감의 조절효과를 검증하고자 한다. 분석자료는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 제공하는 다문화청소년패널연구(MAPS: Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study) 2기 패널인 3차(2021년) 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 방법으로는 PROCESS Macro Model 1번을 활용하여 조절효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 청소년 학교적응에 부적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 청소년의 학교적응 관계에서 부모효능감의 조절효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 즉 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스가 높을수록 부모효능감이 낮은 집단보다 높은 집단에서 청소년의 학교적응이 상대적으로 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같이 분석 결과를 바탕으로 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응 스트레스를 완화하고, 양육효능감 증진 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to examine the moderating effect of parental efficacy in the relationship between acculturative stress among mothers in multicultural families and adolescents' school adjustment. The analysis utilized the third wave (2021) data of the second panel of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS) provided by the National Youth Policy Institute in Korea. PROCESS Macro Model 1 was used to verify the moderating effect. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the acculturative stress of mothers in multicultural families had a significant negative effect on adolescents' school adjustment. Second, the moderating effect of parental efficacy in the relationship between mothers' acculturative stress and adolescents' school adjustment was statistically significant. Specifically, adolescents’ school adjustment was relatively higher in groups with high parental efficacy compared to those with low parental efficacy, even when mothers’ acculturative stress was high. Based on these findings, the study discusses strategies for alleviating acculturative stress among mothers in multicultural families and enhancing enhancing overall parenting efficacy.
