숲 정원의 가치평가지표의 개발 = Development of Forest Garden Value Index

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation index that can make an appropriate assessment of the forest gardens currently being attempted. To accurately evaluate forest gardens, various research results were carried out with reference, and various evaluation indexes conducted in existing studies were objectively evaluated by expert groups and their importance was assessed through AHP to improve their accuracy. In particular, the system of assessment indicators could be further strengthened by conducting evaluations in two stages by dividing them into higher and detailed categories. It was judged that the assessment index for forest gardens was sufficient to assess the basic items that forests should have, and to summarize the definition of existing forests. The evaluation index of the landscape value of forest gardens was developed so that various elements of the site could be evaluated by dividing the forest into natural, artificial and landscape elements. In addition, the evaluation index of the ecological value of forest gardens allowed the assessment of the site by dividing it into the health, species diversity, and maintenance of the habitat, and the assessment was made in consideration of the factors of garden. The evaluation indexes of forest gardens developed in this way were evaluated to determine the accuracy of forest gardens that were actually created. Hwadam Forest and Cheonripo Arboretum were found to be sufficiently valuable as forest gardens, but Lee Hyo-seok's forest of literature was found to have low ecological and historical and cultural values. Therefore, it is understood that complementary work on this value could be recognised as a forest garden. And Wondae-ri birch forest is a very famous tourist destination for its birch colony, but it was not highly regarded as an ecologically simple forest and did not have enough historical and cultural value, so it is necessary to increase cultural value by securing biodiversity using flowers and developing various programs. Therefore, it is necessary to select and evaluate various sites, and the accumulation of databases is necessary to accurately evaluate forest gardens of different types.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현재 다양한 시도가 이루어지고 있는 숲 정원에 대하여 적절한 평가를 내릴 수 있는 평가지표를 개발하는 것이 주 목적이다. 숲 정원을 정확하게 평가하기 위하여 다양한 연구의 결과를 참고로 진행하였으며, 기존 연구들에서 진행된 다양한 평가지표들을 전문가 집단에 의해 객관적으로 평가하고, 그 중요성을 AHP를 통하여 평가한 결과를 토대로 평가지표를 개발하여 정확도를 높혔다. 특히, 평가지표를 상위항목과 세부 항목으로 구분하여 2단계에 의한 평가를 진행함으로써 평가지표의 체계가 더욱 확고해질 수 있었다. 숲 정원의 성상적 가치평가지표는 숲이 갖춰야 할 기본적인 항목을 평가하는 것으로, 기존의 숲에 대한 정의에 대하여 정리하는 것으로 평가지표가 충분하다고 판단하였다. 숲 정원의 경관적 가치의 평가지표는 숲이 가지는 자연적 요소, 인공적 요소, 경관적 요소로 구분하여 평가하도록 하여, 대상지가 가지고 있는 다양한 요소에 대하여 평가할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 그리고 숲 정원의 생태적 가치의 평가지표에서는 서식지의 건강성, 종다양성, 유지관리로 구분하여 대상지를 평가할 수 있도록 하였으며, 정원이라는 요소를 감안하여 유지관리에 대하여 평가하도록 하였다. 이렇게 개발된 숲 정원의 평가지표는 실제로 조성되는 숲 정원을 대상으로 평가를 진행하여 그 정확성을 파악하였다. 4곳을 대상으로 숲 정원 평가지표를 적용해 본 결과, 화담숲과 천리포 수목원은 숲 정원으로 충분한 가치가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 이효석 문학의 숲은 생태적 가치와 역사/문화적 가치가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 가치에 대한 보완작업을 실시한다면, 숲 정원으로 인정받을 수 있을 것으로 파악된다. 그리고 원대리 자작나무숲은 자작나무 군락으로 아주 유명한 관광지이지만, 생태적으로는 단순림에 속해 높은 평가를 받지 못했으며, 역사문화적 가치도 충분치 않았으므로, 초화류를 활용한 생물다양성 확보와, 다양한 프로그램의 개발을 통해 문화적 가치를 높일 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 본 연구는 대상지의 수가 적어, 여러 대상지를 선정하여 평가를 진행할 필요가 있으며, 다양한 유형을 가지는 숲 정원을 정확하게 평가하기 위해서는 데이터베이스의 누적이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.
