내러티브(narrative)가 도덕과 교육과정 설계에 미치는 함의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

내러티브가 인간 사회에 가지는 일반적 의미와 역할은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인간의 경험을 통합적으로 이해할 수 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 경험의 서사화를 통하여 개인은 자신의 정체성을 형성한다는 것이다. 셋째, 경험의 서사화 과정은 가치화와 밀접한 관련성을 가진다는 것이다. 이것이 도덕성 발달과 도덕 교육에 주는 시사점은 첫째, 내러티브 사고를 통한 도덕 경험의 총체적 이해와 해석의 과정으로서의 도덕성 발달, 둘째, 내러티브로서 도덕적 정체성 형성, 셋째, 도덕 경험의 서사화를 통한 성찰과 책임감 고양이다. 따라서 내러티브에 근거한 도덕과 교육과정 구상은 도덕성과 도덕 발달에 대한 통합적 이해(통합성의 원리), 다양한 도덕적 담론의 대화 과정으로서 도덕적 주체의 양성(대화적 관계의 원리), 도덕적 의미의 해석과 구성 과정을 통한 도덕적 앎의 확대(해석학적 순환과 성찰의 원리)를 바탕으로 만들어져야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Narrative has three meaning in human society. First, we can understand our experience on a whole thing through narrative. Second, we can make our identity through narrative-making. Third, we can give narrative plot moralization. These also relate to moral development and moral education. First, moral experience can be fully understood through narrative thinking and moral development must be regarded as a interpretation and ongoing process. Second, moral identity is a kind of narrative identity. Third, reflection and moral responsibility is enhanced through narrative-making. So, narrative-based moral education curriculum will have three principle; integrated understanding of morality and moral development-the principle of integration, a making of moral agent who can receive moral discourses by appropriation-the principle of dialogic relation, deepening of moral knowledge through interpretation and construction-the principle of hermeneutic circle reflection.
