The main malodor components in pig house are ammonia, volatile fatty acids, sulfur compounds. Many of these gases, individually or combination, produce objectionable odors. In addition to smelling bed, emission gases can also affect the health of the animals and workers when they reach high concentrations in pig house. Thus, odorous compounds reduction experiments were performed. The objectives of this study were to develop of microbial agent and test of microbial agent to reduce odorous compounds from pig house. The microorganism removes odor gas was purified from colonies enriched in vial where oil cakes were contained. In order to measure sulfides reduction ratio of the isolates, hydrogen sulfide reduction activity test was performed. Hydrogen sulfide removal efficiency of greater than 90 % of isolate was identified as Brevundimonas diminuta by themorphological, and 16S rRNA sequence analysis. The microbial agent was made by Brevundimonas diminuta, mineral, actical, plant extract, bamboo smoke distillates, glycerin and NaCl solution. The hydrogen sulfide removal efficiency of microbial agent was 95 % or greater in vial test. In this study, microbial agent have a positive effect on reducing odorous compounds. In the pig house of not only lab scale but also field scale, the reduction ratio of the odorous compounds such as ammonia, sulfides, volatile fatty acids, and complex are studied.
