Milton Glaser is the one of the distinctive designer representing the unique beauty of the modern graphic illustraition. He presents self-distinctive techneque as studying of all modern trend of art movement.
He developed traditional formative base into the origianal creative base. This is an effect of new technique which emphasize on the symbolism as not only the means of the communication but also as the expression of the designer's intention. Therefore, his artwork owns special character that makes observers feel and think, together with the function of the informative delivery including idea and concept of artist's. Especially, he produces artwork of poster as mixing the san-serif's literary style with the image of brightness and magnifience.
The purpose of this study is to summarize Milton Glazer's contribution on the modern art history to grasp the new trend of art movement, and to rediscover him who raise the graphic design's status. His contribution is great expectation of the status of Modern graphic design.
