The purpose of this study is to clarify what kind of space should be provided in recuperation facilities which accommodate inpatients/residents. This paper tries to clarify the relationship between the basic behaviors and the actual conditions of daily living activities of the aged in recuperation facilities.
The surveys on the day-time behaviors of inpatients/residents were carried out in 4 hospitals, 3 extended-care facilities for the aged and 4 special nursing homes in japan.
The results and the considerations of this paper are as follows ;
The patterns of daily living activities are distinguished 3 groups by the basic characteristics of the aged in recuperation facilities. Nurses' and care staff's nursing times are effected by the facilities condition and living activities of the aged.
