이인직 연구에 대한 몇 가지 재고찰 = 동경정치학교를 중심으로

Tokyo Politics School have played an important role in studying and researching In-jik Lee Author. It is so because Tokyo Politics School has always appeared whenever the study and research was made on when In-jik Lee descended to Japan and how his knowledge systems and his subjective ideas were formed. 『Miyako Shinbun』 has always been mentioned in connection with Tokyo Politics School. In this regard, this research paper is to make the reexaminations on Tokyo Politics School, where Lee attended, and 『Miyako Shinbun』 released in the academic circles for the recently several years, considering the fact stated above. Here, the word, ``reexamination`` is used since the existing discussions on the research and study on In-jik Lee provided the excessive meanings on Tokyo Politics School and articles on Lee in 『Miyako Shinbun』 assumed complex factors or forms of the biased tendency toward Japan or the attachment for Korea. Although it is difficult to clarify about the two subjects, this research paper is to look through the research and study on In-jin Lee by tracing how Tokyo Politics School was and under what intentions articles on In-jin Lee in 『Miyako Shinbun』 were written. Such research and study would probably contribute to approaching the anti-feudal and pro-progressive ideas, step by step. The research analysis of Tokyo Politics School out of <Descriptions on general people> and <Texts on Japanese People> (Pyungbyumsa, 1982) written by Yamakawa Hitoshi and <Sankookomumso> by Danaka Hideo <Hwarimgseobang, 2006> shows that some information on Tokyo Politics School ought to be reviewed. Up to now, a lot of researchers have made the practical exploration of overseas study experiences of In-jik Lee in order to shed light on Lee. It can be imagined much enough of how Tokyo Politics School was run, taking into allowance that the school was merely s lecture room, unlike we usually knew, and the school abolished academic subjects, all the often, and a gradually increasing number of instructors quit their job in the school. Against this backdrop, the relationship between In-jik and Tokyo Politics School needs to be reflected in a light different from the past. Given the fact that articles on In-jik Lee in 『Miyako Shinbun』 and those in <Huekreong Shinbun> of the Japanese Huekreong Society in support of ``Pan-Asianism`` made little difference, it needs to make the reexamination on how In-jik Lee spent most time in Tokyo. In this context, this research paper makes the cautious assumption that In-jik Lee left for Japan and studied there under the hidden scheme with the Japanese right political wings and pro-Japanese Koreans in Korea.
