This study is a qualitative case study to collect and analyze face-to-face interviews with nine parents of eight children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This study explored parents’ views about critical inclusion in education and community settings for their young children with ASD. The findings revealed that most parents were satisfied with the inclusiveness of their child’s current school placement; however, all participants were dissatisfied with their child’s inclusion in community settings. It also raised the issue of parental limitations in community involvement for themselves. The results suggest that successful inclusion requires children with ASD to be included in the community as well in school.
