地域社會 老人을 위한 敎會의 敎育프로그램에 관한 硏究 = (A) study of the educational Programs of the churches for the Aged in the community

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국의 인구 고령화로 인하여 노인인구 증가와 노인문제가 발생함에 따라서, 의식을 가진 교회들이 노인들의 사중고(빈고, 병고, 고독고, 무위고)를 위한 도움을 주고, 선교사명을 감당하려고 노인대학을 개설하여 교육을 실시하고 있다.
본 논문은 열악한 환경에서 노인대학을 운영하고 있는 주체기관이 도움을 필요로하고 있는 것들 중에서 프로그램과 교과서를 선택하거나 만들 때에, 갖추어야할 안목과 능력을 키우는데 도움을 주기위해서 “지역사회의 노인을 위한 교회교육프로그램에 관한 연구”라는 제목으로 쓰여졌다.
이를 위해서, 대전에서 교회노인대학 프로그램을 진행하고 있는 특징있는 세 교회를 선택하였고, 프로그램의 분석을 위해 앤드라고지적 Knowles의 모형을 재 구조화여 만든 제1분석틀과, 교과서의 분석을 위해 만들 제2분석틀로 사례교회의 프로그램과 교과서를 분석하였다.
분석결과를 가지고, 문제점과 보완점들을 발견하고 해결방안을 모색하여, 제시하였다. 노의대학들이 가진 공통점은 노인들에 대한 사명, 목표와 철학을 가지고 있었다는 것이다. 이들 모두는 노인대학의 운영을 잘 시작하였다고 생각한다.
그리고 운영결과 얻어진 결과들에 대하여 매우 많족하고 있었다. 피교육자들 역시 다니고 있는 노인대학에서 얻는 것이 무엇이었든지 매우 만족하고 있었다.
하지만 노인대학의 운영이 성공적이고 느끼는 만족에도 불구하고, 이 기관들은 노인교육에 대한 체계적인 집단이 아닌고로, 열악하고 한정된 환경으로 인하여 스스로 해결 할 수 없는 문제들을 제외하고도, 보완해야 할 많은 문제점들이 발견 되었다. 이는 아마도 이들 기관의 문제만은 아닐 것이요, 국가의 미래를 위하여 어떤 형태로든지 해결을 위한 도움을 받아야 할 것이다.
그중에 몇가지 노인대학을 위하여 중요한 점을 지적하면 아래와 같다.
첫째, 철저하고 다양한 욕구조사에 의한 프로그램과 교과내용을 준비해야 하는 것이다.
둘째, 노인대학의 이념과 목적에 맞는 프로그램에 충실해야 한다는 점이다.
셋째, 프로그램과 교과내용을 선택하거나 만드는데 필요한 관련자의 안목과 능력을 배양해야 한다는 것이다.
넷째, 전문가에게 전문적인 자문을 받아야 한다.
다섯째, 노인교육이라고 해도 유연성, 혁신성, 창조성을 가지고 생산적인 프로그램을 개발해야 한다.
여섯째, 노인교육 기관들이 개별적으로 해결하기 힘든 부분에 대하여, 국가의 제반적 도움들을 마련해 주어야 한다.
일곱째, 일률적인 운영형태를 벗어나서, 창조적이고 특징적인 프로그램을 준비해야 한다는 점등이다. 이상 참고에 필요한 상세한 사항들에 대하여서는 해결방안, 결론과 제안에서 살펴보기를 바란다.
끝으로 열악한 환경에서 도움도 없이, 열정과 사명감으로 희생하며 봉사하는 노인교육기관 관련자들에게 감사와 깊은 찬사를 보낸다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

New our society has found an increase in the number of long-life elderly people, owing to the benefits of physical, material, and medical civilization which was influenced by industrialization, scientificalization and urbanization.
However, fifelity to the elderly people which used to be traditional virtues in our cultural context has not been succeeded to or improved. But rather deteriorated, and accordingly, a variety of problems concerning the elderly people are occurring.
In Korea, to solve these problems, a great efforts are given by the goverment and civil organizations, which fail to meet increasingly various and complicated problems of the aged. Under these circumstances, churches have personnel, financial facilities, building and other resourses, are motivated for the aged as essential mission of churches. These resources of churches can compensate for the shortage of welfare programs carried out by the goverment and civil organization.
With the sense of duty, many churches have the plans, put in operation of education to help the aged whom had the difficulties of the destitution, pain of sickness, solitude, and inactivity. Therefor the current study was written about the essay entitled " A Study of the Educational programs of the churchs for the aged in the community, for giving to the subject institution which has educational programs for the cultivation of an eye and ability in poor conditions.
For these purpose and research, the related data which were colleted by the selected characteristic three churches which had programs of educational institution of the aged in Taejon city, were used for the main analytic data.
The first analysis frame for the program analysis, was made by reorganization of the andragogical theeory, Knowles' prototype, and the second analysis fram was made for the text contents of the selected case churches, and these frames were used for analyzing them.
From these product results, the points at issue and supplement were found, groped for the solving scheme and suggested. The common features of the institution of the aged were the mission mind, objective institution and the aged, whatever results follow, were satisfied. In spite of their feeling satisfaction and successful results, they are many points of supplement found, also many parts to have professional help and consultation as below.
First of all, when the churches begin the educational institution, they have to prepare the programs and textbooks by the various desire research of the aged, people of community and subjective members.
Second, the programs of the church educational institution should made suitable by their purpose.
Third, the program or textbooks should be made, chosen by the eye and ability of the related.
Fourth, the related should have professional consultation.
Fifth, the programs and text contents should be made, developed by the pliability, innovativity, and creativity.
Sixth, the churches should prepare the creative and charateristic program from the uniformitive management method.
Seventh, the more professional service of quality programs should be improved, and provided. Those who are in charge should have expertise in the field, and run a variety of porgrams to meet various needs of the aged.
Eighth, the separate spaces or rooms should be prepared for the improvement of the educational environment. One who wants to get about more detailed data or informations, please, refer to the conclusion and suggestions.
Finally, without the available support, in poor conditions, to those who sacrifice and derve with fervor and sense of duty, be unsparing of my praise heart.
