The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of convergence gifted students through the their perception about scientists. Consequently, this article found that range of perception about scientists was distinction between applicants of convergence and science class in science education center for elementary gifted. Science class applicants mainly recognized pure scientists, but convergence class applicants recognized scientist was including mathematician, artist, architect, etc. Also convergence class applicants thought that affective domain is more important than science class such as 'effort', 'patience', 'interest'. In other respects, when they recognized the scientists, science class applicants knew their achievements obviously better than convergence class. And to conclude, the characteristic has difference between convergence and science class applicants in science education center for elementary gifted. Based on the result of this study, this paper suggests the following: Firstly, conceptual study urgent about convergence gifted student that definition and characteristic. Secondly, provide information that characteristic of convergence gifted student for selecting convergence class in gifted science education center. It will be expect that use reference about selecting convergence class. Finally, when teaching convergence class, education should be attach importance to the affective domain.
