산학협력을 통한 부적응 유아의 사회적 관계 증진 사례 연구 = A Case Study on Enhancement of Maladjusted Young Children`s Social Relationship Through an Interagency Collaboration

The goal of this research was to improve social relationship of maladjusted young children through an interagency collaboration between early childhood teachers and a therapist of a university affiliated counseling center. The subjects were 2 boys and 1 girl showing the relationship difficulties with their 3 teachers and peers. The interagency collaboration activities conducted by play therapist and teachers were as follows: play therapy, face to face teacher training and parents training/counseling by a therapist, exchange of informations between parents, teachers and a therapist, implementing classroom intervention activities between teachers and a therapist with discussion. All children showed to be lowered conflicts and increased intimacy of the teacher-child relationship. It also showed that the frequencies of positive initiation and reaction behaviors were increased, but negative initiation and reaction behaviors were decreased in the social interactions with peers. Among sub-variables of the social competence the scores of social activeness and cooperativeness were increased, but the hypersensitiveness score was lowered. The result indicated that study that the collaboration activities for enhancing social relationship of maladjusted young children was effective.
