주민참여에 의한 농촌마을 계획과정과 교훈 : 충북 제원군 금성면 사례 Learning from the Keumsong Project = A Rural Community Design Process by the People

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is a detailed process of a rural community design by the people for Keumsong-Myun, Chung-buk Province. The development plan for Keumsong-Myun was made by the community people with me in 1984. As a coordinate architect and planner, I used the C. Alexander's pattern language method in the project.
Through this experimental project the effectiveness of the pattern language approach was proved as a good tool of user-participation planning.
It is the hope of this paper to provide a valuable reference to architects and planners designing and planning communities with and by the people.
