This study aims to explore the influence of emotional exhaustion on job performance, job satisfaction and turnover intention among airline ground staff. The final analysis included 620 questionnaires processed using the SPSS 29.0 statistical program. Hypothesis validity was assessed through multiple regression analysis yielding the following results. First, there were no correlations between emotional exhaustion, among airline ground staff and job performance. Second, emotional exhaustion was found to have a significant and negative correlation with job satisfaction among airline ground staff. Third, emotional exhaustion had a significantly positive effect on turnover intention. Fourth, there were positively significant correlations between job performance among airline ground staff and job satisfaction. Fifth, job performance was found to have a significant and negative correlation with turnover intention among airline ground staff. Sixth, job satisfaction had a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Based on the conclusions drawn from this study, several practical implications can be derived. This study examines the relationships among emotional exhaustion, job performance, job satisfaction and turnover intention in airline ground staff. Results show that emotional exhaustion significantly impacts job performance, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. Airlines should implement stress management and psychological support programs to enhance employees' mental health and job engagement. Additionally, job performance influences both job satisfaction and turnover intention suggesting the need for performance enhancement programs. Improving the work environment and strengthening communication among colleagues can further increase job satisfaction and reduce turnover intention. This study provides practical insights for reducing turnover rates and improving organizational efficiency in airlines and other service industries.
