강남의 상상과 낭만: 이제현의 강남 기행시 연구 = Imagination and Romance in Jiangnan: A Study of Li Qixian’s Jiangnan Travel poems

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1319년, 이제현은 상왕(上王) 충선왕(忠宣王)을 모시고 강남에 다녀오면서 적지 않은 기행시를 썼는데 그 가운데 시 13제 14수, 장단구 2수가 『익재난고(益齋亂稿)』에 수록되어 전해지고 있다. 이것은 서촉(西蜀)으로 다녀오면서 남긴 시와 더불어 이제현의 중국 기행시의 아주 중요한 구성 부분으로 되고 있다. 따라서 이 강남 기행시라고 할 수 있는 시와 그 강남에서의 행적이 학계의 주목을 받아 여러 면에서의 연구가 진행되었다. 그러나 이제현의 이 강남 기행시를 비롯하여 강남 행적에는 아직도 적지 않은 의문점들이 존재한다. 『고려사(高麗史)』에 의하면 그들의 목적지는 보타산(寶陀山) 강향(降香)이다. 그러나 지금으로서는 보타산을 비롯하여 항주로부터 보타산으로 가는 도중에 관한 시를 비롯한 아무런 문헌적인 사료를 찾아볼 수 없는 상황이며 이제현에게 초상화를 그려주었다는 화가에 대해서도 적지 않은 의문점이 있으며 그들이 항주에서 만난 중봉명본(中峰明本)과의 관계도 진일보의 연구가 필요하다. 특히 이번 강남행에서 그들이 항주에서 남긴 행적은 모두 한결같이 항주 서쪽이다. 항주 동쪽 저 멀리 보타산으로 가야 할 이제현 일행이 항주에서 남긴 이러한 상황들은 이 문제에 대한 진일보의 연구를 비롯한 확실한 새로운 사료들이 뒷받침되어야 한다는 것을 말해 준다. 뿐만 아니라 이 강남 기행시에 나오는 일부 지명을 비롯하여 고인(古人)의 시를 차운했다고 하는 시에서의 고인이 누구인가 하는 등에도 일부 해결되지 못한 부분이 있으며 그의 시 해독(解讀)에 있어서도 좀 더 심도 있는 해석이 필요한 상황이다. 이에 대해 본문은 일부 역사 사실과 결부하여 기성 연구에 대해 일부 의문점을 제기하면서 일부 확인된 부분에 대해서는 수정을 진행함과 동시에 시에 나타난 문제들에 해답을 주면서 낭만과 풍류의 강남땅에서 한국의 전통적인 미학 범주인 풍류로 이제현이 기행시 가운데서 한국의 미학전통과 관련된 낭만과 풍류의 미를 밝혀보고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In 1319, Li Qixian accompanied the king Zhongxuan on a trip to Jiangnan and wrote many travel poems, among which the 13 Theme 14 poems and Ci 2 pieces were included in the Disorderly Draft of YiZhai. This, along with the poems he left on his way to the Xishu, became an important component of Li Qixian’s Chinese travel poems.Therefore, this Jiangnan travel poem and its Jiangnan traces have received attention from the academic community and have been studied in various aspects.But there are still many doubts about Li Qixian’s Jiangnan travel poem and Jiangnan Travels. According to the “History of Goryeo”, their destination was Mount Baotuo JiangXiang. But now we can’t find any literature and historical materials such as poems on Mount Baotuo and on the way from Hangzhou to Mount Baotuo. There are also many questions about the artist who painted Li Qixian’s portrait, and their relationship with the Zhongfeng Mingben they met in Hangzhou also requires further research. Especially during this trip to Jiangnan, the traces they left behind in Hangzhou were all from the west of Hangzhou. Li Qixian and his delegation were supposed to go to Baotuo Mountain to the east of Hangzhou, but the circumstances left behind in Hangzhou indicate that further exploration of conclusive new historical materials is needed as support. Not only that, including some place names in the Jiangnan Travel poems, there are still some unresolved parts in the poetry known as “borrowing ancient poetry”, such as the question of who the ancients were also remains to be solved. The interpretation of his poetry also requires a deeper explanation. In this regard, this article combines some historical facts to raise some doubts and make some modifications to the existing research. At the same time, it answers the questions that appear in the poetry, attempting to reveal the traditional aesthetic category of South Korea - the romantic and romantic beauty sung by Li Qixian in his travel poems on the romantic and romantic land of Jiangnan.
