Basically for the PC_Crash is used in the process of reconstructing or investing a lots of collision factors, the functions, road condition and the vehicle specifications include drag factors. On this paper, the drag factor range has been used widely (Asphalt: 0.50 ~ 0.90) and traditionary. Dividing their range allow more precise result compare to the wide range when a driver brake rapidly or traffic collision. Also the development of new technology such as ABS, EDR etc. brought variety into the braking force changes. It is required to divide drag factors precisely. The standard of drag factors used in comparison data results is NHTSA, Code of Georgia State and PC-Crash, which is a simulation tool for skid marks, road grade, environmental variations, were of road condition and the volume of the traffic on the road have been taken into the factors of the simulation. The result of the study is in the attached table. the skid mark variations based on drag factor variation are not linear on the vehicle velocities and drag factors. The trend of data is non linear and not scattered. It has been more detailed length in terms of the new defined rag factors. The length of skid marks of simulation is longer than code of NHTSA and Traditional code of the Northwestern university safety center.
