This research is purposed to analyze the element of curriculum leisure sports related departments at College and University in Gwangju & Jeonnam into the resemblance and the difference. For achieving the purpose of this research, the concrete topic of research is that the analysis of the aim of the education, whether or not the legal course setup of sports leader, the analysis of completion of major subject and the analysis of the resemblance and the difference of education course of each sports department. The subject University of this research are 4, 2-year sports departments, and 5, University sports departments, located in Gwangju & Jeonnam. The object departments of research are that as college D, S, C in Gwangju and S·C in Jeonnam, as K, C, H University in Gwangju and D, C·D University in Jeonnam.
The conclusion of this research is follows:
First, analyzing the aim of education of sports department of College and University, at the "College" they have arranged the subjects which are grounding education for the choosing vocation and focusing on getting a job in actuality. At the "University", they have aimed growing the qualities as a Executive, Administration manager, Leader who have knew scientific knowledge well.
Second, in the condition of sports leader, the graduate who were finished College or University sports department can get the 3rd grade license of sports leader when they complete the legal 8 subjects, theory of sports, exercise physiology, sports psychology, sports sociology, theory of recreation, training methodology, emergency and safety management. Among the "College" D, S colleges have arranged 8 legal subject, but the lacks are founded that "training methodology" in C college and "emergency and safety management, health management, sports sociology" in S·D college. Also, among the "University", all 8 subjects are arranged in K, C, C·D, H college, but D college doesn't have arranged health management, emergency and safety management. Although some colleges have the lack of 1 or 2 subjects, they are judged to operate the education course without any obstacle to get the license of sports leader through operating the similar subject and alternative subject, because each aim of college is to grow the sports leader.
Third, the distribution of major subject is that in the College, the average are 22 credits which is major theory, 48 credits which is exercise and in the University, the average are 49 credits which is major theory, 52 credits which is exercise. In the College, as the short-term training program of leaders in the field, they focus on the exercise subjects which is required in the field, and University strengthen the education of program related sports in the major theorey and arranged the exercise subject which is similar to the College are configured.
Fourth, the characteristics of each grade is that the theory of "1 grade" of the College is many grounding education parts for the vocational education, and the exercise is consisted subject which is to master the basic functionality. the theory of "2 grade" is consisted the subject which is for the specialization according to the goal of education, and the exercise is required the level which can apply in the field through the deepening education. Besides, in the University, the theory of "1 grade" is arranged the subjects which is the introductory-level, this is made to know the principles of sports, and the exercise is the subjects which can improve the basic physical Stamina and the basic function. At the "2-grade", the theory is arranged the subjects which is to understand the sports, and is about various value of sports, and the exercise is arranged the courses which is the seasonal special sports and is to participate in a number of sports. At the "3 grade", the theory is arranged the subjects which are identified the value and the meaning of sports in the society, and the exercise is arranged subject of Leisure sports. At the "4 grade", the theory is arranged the subjects which are used directly in the field of sports, the exercise is consisted the subjects which can be guided in parallel with Training Methodology.
Fifth, analyzing the resemblance and difference in the curriculum of sports departments of the College and University, at the "College", the theory is level of legal subjects of sports leader, and the literacy classes are usually consisted the grounding education for the choice of vocation. Taking the average with depending on the distribution of the major exercise, the exercise is consisted curriculum which is similar than University level. In the College, the education is focus on making the students sports leader after graduation. Furthermore, the "University" is consisted the curriculum to make students not only to be sports leader but also can achieve the footing field of business and sports administrative management through adding the subjects which is for growing the scientific and systematic leader, and the theory of program organization, sports business, administrative management on the legal sports subjects.
