The research focuses on improving the reliability and quality of zero current transformer (ZCT), which is a key technology for electric vehicles. The ZCT has become increasingly important for the charging system of the future mobility. Moreover, the growing demand and utilization of ZCT in the charging system have led to challenges regarding their performance and reliability. In this paper, a structural analysis of ZCT is conducted to pinpoint failure causes. Based on the analysis, process improvement for ZCT are proposed, and its efficacy is verified even under various environmental conditions. The comprehensive findings have the potential to enhance the reliability and quality of the automotive components, particularly in the eco-friendly automotive technology.
