자궁경부 신생물의 Langerhans 세포 = The Langerhans Cells in Neoplasia of the Uterine Cervix

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자궁경부 편평상피암에서의 Langerhans 세포의 동태를 형태학적으로 규명하기 위해 5례의 대조군과 편평상피내암 3례 및 침윤성 편평상피암 2례를 각각 검색하였다. 광학현미경 관찰을 위해서는 ZIO 염색을 시행하였으며 전자현미경 관찰을 위해서는 ZIO 및 통상의 방법으로 처리하였다.
대조군에서는 Langerhans 세포는 ZIO 용액에서 쉽게 염색되었고, 그 모양은 돌기의 수가 1∼2개인 것이 다수를 차지하였다. 편평상피암에서는 Langerhans 세포의 수는 대조군보다 증가된 편이었으며 돌기의 수도 1∼3개인 것이 많았다. Langerhans 세포의 미세구조는 대조군 및 편평상피암군 모두 비슷하였으나 편평상피암군에서 세포소기관이 좀더 풍부하였다.
이상의 성적으로 보아 편평상피암에서는 Langerhans 세포의 역할이 좀더 증가된 것으로 인정된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A morphological study on Langerhans cells in squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix was carried out. Five cases of the uterine cervix surgically obtained from the patients of myoma as control group and three cases of in situ squamous cell carcinoma and two of invasive squamous cell carcinoma as experimental group were investigated by means oflight microscopy with zinc-iodide-osmium(ZIO) solution and conventional electron microscopy.
Langerhans cells were distinctly stained with ZIO solution in both control and experimental groups. Most of the cells had one or two cell processes in control group. The number of the cells in case of squamous cell carcinoma was increased, and majority of the cells had one to three cell processes. The ultrastructures of Langerhans cells are similar in both groups. However, cell organelles including Langerhans granules, mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, and endoplasmic reticulum were slightly abundant in group of squamous cell carcinoma.
According to these findings, it is concluded that the role of Langerhans cells in squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix is more increased than that of normal.
