Economic analyses of the thermoelectric power plant construction are performed based on the levelized costs of electric generation. Three representative combustion methods are considered which involve pulverized coal combustion (P.C.), Bunker-C oil combustion (B-C), and fluidized bed coal combustion (FBC). For each combustion method, levelized cost of electric generation is estimated and sensitivity analyses are carried out for the related parameters including capacity factor, inflation rate, discount rate, and oil price increase rate.
