노동시장과 인적자원개발로 본 한국의 경제발전 = Korea's Economic Development in Terms of Labor Market and Human Resource Development

국문 초록 (Abstract)

건국 후 60여년간 한국의 경제발전을 첫째, 그 성장이 지속가능한 것이었느냐 여부, 둘째, 성장의 내용이나 과정이 국민경제 잠재력을 극대화하는 방향이었느냐 여부, 그리고 셋째로 성장의 성과가 적절하게 분배되었느냐 여부 등 몇 가지 중요한 기준으로 평가하여볼 때 그 특징은 (1)선진국이 60~90년간에 달성한 성과를 30여년만에 달성하는 압축적인 고도성장이었다는 점, (2)수출주도형 경제성장정책을 채택하였다는 점, (3)상대적으로 빠른 인적자본 축적이 지속적으로 이루어져왔다는 점, (4)성장과 분배가 결코 서로 상충하지 않으면서 경제발전을 달성하는 방식, 즉 지속적 성장의 가속이 시장의 힘으로 분배불평등을 감소시키는 방식으로 경제성장이 이루어지는 특유의 한국적 발전모형이었다는 점 등으로 요약할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

For 60 years after the national foundation, in view of some important criteria such as firstly, whether the economic growth was sustainable or not, secondly, whether the contents or the processes of economic growth tended toward a direction which could maximize the potentiality of our national economy or not, and thirdly, whether the fruits of economic growth were distributed properly or not, the remarkable features of our economic development can be summarized as (1) it showed a compressed rapid growth which could attain the similar growth performances as those of developed countries for 60-90 years, (2) it took the export-led economic growth policies, (3) it experienced relatively rapid and steady accumulation of human capital, (4) it showed an unique Korean model of economic development which stimulates economic growth without the trade-off relation between growth and distribution in such a way that steady acceleration of economic growth reduces the overall inequality of income distribution through labor market mechanism continuously.
