다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this thesis is to offer some desirable suggestion about regional development planning and policy. In the concrete, it examined the theories and case examples in the inside and outside of the country. Especially, it analyzed the growth of growth-centres by the method of static analysis and Kwanju metropolis by the method of dynamic analysis.
The results are as follow
1. It is recommaned to alter the fundamental aim of the regional development planning. More consideration is required to the regional balanced development before executing the existing fundamental aim and the policy of the population dispersion.
2. In selection of the growth-centres, the main stress is not laid upon excellence in underdeveloped region.
3. Growth-center policies were not practiced according to the development plan was not satisfactorily achieved.
4. The system dynamic analysis was useful to find the desirable policies about Kwangju metropolis.
5. The potential usage of system dynamic model was very effective. And this model is expected to contribute to the regional development.
