Little research has conducted on the relationship between workplace spirituality and employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB). This study aims to study the relationship between workplace spirituality and employees’ innovative work behavior in Chinese context with focus on well-being and used three forms of wellbeing: subjective well-being, psychological well-being and spiritual well-being. We collected 262 surveys from Chinese organizations. Structural equation modeling was used to test the effect of different forms of well-being, wherein the modeled results were compared to identify which form of well-being best explained the relationship on IWB. The results suggest that workplace spirituality can positively influence IWB and all three forms of well-being can mediate the relationship. Notably, the explained variance of psychological well-being on IWB was greatest among the three forms of well-being, suggesting psychological well-being best explains the hypothesized relationship within a Chinese context
