일반논문 : 유한준(兪漢雋) 문학의 실학적 면모 = The aspects of Silhak found in Yu Han-jun`s Literature

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 兪漢雋 문학의 실학적 면모를 개괄적으로 살펴보면서, 특히 그가 牧民官으로 있으면서 羅山 지역의 三政의 문란을 해결하고자 하는 과정에서 창작되었던 작품들을 집중적으로 조명했다. 유한준은 朴趾源과의 대비속에서 그간 擬古的 경향과 보수적 對淸意識만이 과도하게 부각되어 왔다. 하지만 그의 작품을 읽어보면 실학자 柳馨遠을 계승하고자 하는 의식과 지방관으로서 현실을 개혁하고자 했던 모습이 드러난다. 그리고 조선의 풍속 및 역사에 대한 문학적 형상화 및 실사구시적 정신과 실증적 글쓰기가 돋보이는 글들이 적지 않다. 본고에서는 기존의 실학 개념 속에서 충분히 조명될만한 유한준 문학의 이러한 실학적 면모들을 우선 개괄적으로 간단히 소개하였다. 그리고 그 중 특히 그가 지방관으로 직무를 수행하며 田政·軍政·還穀 등 三政의 폐단을 지적했던 「羅山策」 등 현실비판적인 일련의 작품들을 분석했다. 이를 통해 실천적 목민관으로서의 유한준의 삶과 문학이 조명될 수 있었고, 경세적 측면과 관련된 유한준 문학의 실학적 면모가 구체적으로 밝혀질 수 있었다.

This paper examines aspects of 實學 Silhak found in Yu Han-jun 兪漢雋`s literature, especially focusing on his literary works written when he was one of the local authorities to help solve the demoralization of the three governing systems at Rasan 羅山. Yu Han-jun 兪漢雋`s archaistic aspect and his conservative attitude against Qing 淸were magnified in his contrasts with Park Ji-won 朴趾源. Throughout his works, however, we can see how he handed down Silhak scholar Yu Hyeong-won 柳馨遠`s principles and reformed unreasonable realities of tax burden as the local authority. There are quite a number of outstanding works displaying the literary figuration of customs and history, the search for truth from real facts, and Yu`s empirical writing style. This paper introduced general Silhak aspects from Yu Han-jun`s literary works which are worthy of notice. It also analyzes a series of his works such as A policy of Rasan 羅山策 that pointed out the disorder of the three governing systems: 田政 (Jeonjeong, Land Tax), 軍政(Gunjeong, Military Service), and 還穀(Hwangok, Grain Loan). By doing this, we can illuminate Yu Han-jun`s life and literature as a practical local authority and trace the Silhak aspects on his literature related to conducting state affairs.
