위험 회피 기질과 부모의 심리적 통제와 우울간의 관계: 사회부과 완벽주의와 회피 중심 대처의 매개효과 = The Relationships Among Harm Avoidance, Psychological Control, and Depression: Mediating Role of Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and Avoidance Coping

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 개인의 위험회피 기질과 부모의 심리적 통제가 우울에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 사회부과 완벽주의와 같은 성격적인 측면을 형성하여 회피적으로 대처 행동을 하는 것이 연속적으로 매개 효과를 나타낼 것인지를 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 361명의 대학생들은 성인용 기질 및 성격검사, 심리적 통제 척도, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도, 대처전략검사 척도, 역학조사센터 우울척도를 실시하였다. 구조방정식 모형 검증을 통해 자료를 분석한 결과, 부분매개모형의 적합도가 가장 우수하였다. 즉 위험회피 기질은 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 동시에 사회부과 완벽주의와 회피 중심 대처를 순차적으로 매개하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미쳤다. 반면 부모의 심리적 통제는 사회부과 완벽주의와 회피 중심 대처를 매개하여 우울에 영향을 미치는 간접효과만이 유의미하였다. 이러한 결과는 위험회피 기질이 높고 심리적으로 통제적인 환경일수록 사회부과 완벽주의와 같은 부적응적인 성격 특성과 회피 대처로 인해서 우울에 유의미하게 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다. 이는 우울의 발생 과정을 통합적으로 보여주며, 치료에 대한 방향을 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, we would like to explore whether there will be a continuous mediating effect of avoidant coping behavior by forming personality aspects, such as socially prescribed perfectionism, in which the individual's harm avoidance temperament and parental psychological control affect depression. To examine this hypothesis, three hundred and sixty-one students completed temperament and character Inventory, psychological control scale, multiple perfectionism scale, coping strategy indicator, and the center for epidemiological studies-depression scale. As a result of analyzing the data through the verification of the structural equation model, the fit of the partial mediated model was the best. In other wards, the results indicated that harm avoidance had a direct effect on depression and at the same time, had an indirect effect on depression sequentially mediated by socially prescribed perfectionism and avoidance coping. On the other hand, the psychological control of parents had only significant indirect effects that affect depression through mediating socially prescribed perfectionism and avoidance coping. These results show that the higher harm avoidance temperament and psychologically controlled the environments, the more significantly affect depression due to maladaptive personality traits such as socially prescribed perfectionism and avoidance coping. This shows the process of developing depression in an integrated way, and gives direction to treatment.
