어촌 심언광의 역사제재 한시에 관한 고찰 = A Study of Eochon Sim Eon-gwang’s Chinese Poems on History

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 󰡔어촌집󰡕에 실린 70수의 역사제재 한시들을 시기별로 분류하고, 그 특징들에 대해 분석한 것이다. 어촌 심언광에 대한 논의는 최근에 이르러 여러 방면에서 진행되고 있지만, 역사제재 한시에 대해서는 강지희의 연구(｢어촌 심언광 영사시에 나타난 역사인식과 삶의 지향｣, 2014)가 유일하다. 본고에서는 선행연구를 기초하되, 기존 논의에서 제외된 28수(총 70수)의 역사제재 한시를 연구범주에 포함시켜 논의하고자 한다.
어촌의 역사제재 한시들은 시기별 차별화된 면모를 살펴볼 수 있는데, 어촌의 연보(年譜)와 정사(正史), 야사(野史), 차자(箚子) 등의 내용을 근거로 어촌의 시에 담긴 함의를 고찰하였다. 특히, 독사시로서의 특징이 보이는 의영사 40수 등에 대해서는 별도의 장을 구분하여 고찰하였다.
의영사 40수의 시대적 배경을 살펴보면 중국 역대 왕조의 순서를 따르고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 마치 사서(史書)를 탐독하며 정리한 듯한 일련의 시들은, 역사제재 한시의 또 다른 단면을 드러낸다. 특히, 영사(詠史)하는 대상을 정사(正史)뿐만 아니라 신화(神話)나 전설(傳說), 야사(野史) 등의 내용까지 제재로 삼았다는 점과 나라가 극도로 혼란했던 시기 및 왕조교체기 등을 배경으로 삼고 있다는 점 등은 어촌의 시가 송대 이후 내려온 영사시의 전통과 특징을 반영하고 있음을 보여준다.
본 연구를 토대로 어촌의 한시 작품과 더불어 국내 역사제재 한시에 대한 다양한 논의들이 진행되기를 기대해 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzes the characteristics of 70 Chinese poems on history published in Eochonjip and categorizes them by period. In recent years, Eochon Sim Eon-gwang has been the subject of discussions in various fields; nevertheless, the only study of his Chinese poems on history is Kang Ji-hee’s research-“Eochon Sim Eon-gwang’s history awareness and view of life showed in his historical poems”, 2014. While this study draws from previous research, it also includes an analysis of 28 poems that were not covered in the previous study.
Eochon’s Chinese poems on history highlight distinct historical facets. Accordingly, this study examines the implications of the poems based on his chronology, official or unofficial history, and public appeals at the time. A separate chapter specifically examines the 40 pieces of uiyeongsa, which presents characteristics as dogsasi, poems composed after reading history books.
The 40 poems of uiyeongsa follow the sequence of Chinese dynasties, which becomes evident by examining their historical contexts. The series of poems, which appear to have been produced after an extensive reading of history books, reveals another aspect of Chinese poems on history. Specifically, the subject encompasses not just official history but also myth, legend, and unofficial history. Furthermore, the backdrop is a period of intense unrest or dynastic transition. This demonstrates that Eochon’s poems reflect the traditions and characteristics of historical poems that have continued since the Song Dynasty.
This study will hopefully lead to many discussions on Chinese poems on history by other Koreans, along with Eochon.
