A induction motors used generally is altered characteristics of operation, maximum torque and output, locked torque, full-load torque, starting torque, efficiency, power factor, slip, etc. for that the voltage and frequency change.
Because, if frequency were changed, impedance is change and if the impedance and voltage were changed, characterisics of the induction motors is altered.
Therefore, a measurement value was compared with the theory and this experiment was measured to the wound induction motor, 3[HP], 220[V], 60 [~].
Here, the frequency and voltage is based on 60 cycles and 220 volts.
The experiment is analyzed into the method of the circle diagram and calculation and the result was examined into the merits and demerits of the wound induction motor.
