상대(商代) 우주론과 의례의 상관성 연구: 천지분리 신화, 조상계보, 희생제의를 중심으로

This research was to study the relations between cosmology and ritual. Its field was the Shang dynasty in ancient china. It selected the myth of sky-earth separation which was regarded as revealing the cosmology of the Shang dynasty clearly. And it analyzed the oracle-bone inscriptions reflecting the ritual system of the Shang dynasty. The accounts of the oracle-bone inscriptions included royal genealogies, sacrifices and cyclical rituals. It was proved that the myth of sky-earth separation belonged to not the Shang dynasty but the Zhou dynasty in the course of research. Instead, it was newly presented that the shamanism of the Shang dynasty involved the cosmology of the age. The results ever inquired was already announced in the academic world. Now it is finding out the correlations of cosmology with ritual through digging into the shamanism of the Shang dynasty.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 우주론과 의례의 상관관계를 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구는 중국 고대 왕조 가운데 하나인 상대(商代)를 중심으로 진행하였다. 본 연구는 상대의 우주론을 가장 잘 드러내는 자료로서 절지천통(絶地天通) 신화를 선택하였다. 또한 상대 의례 체계를 반영하는 자료라 할 수 있는 갑골문을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 갑골문 기사 가운데 조상계보, 희생제의 및 주제(周祭) 관련 자료를 중심으로 분석을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 진행 과정에서 절지천통 신화는 상대가 아닌 주대(周代)에 귀속된 것으로 밝혀졌다. 대신 상대 무술(巫術)이 당시 통용되었던 우주론을 함의하고 있었을 가능성이 새롭게 제기되었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 이미 한편의 논문을 통하여 학계에 발표하였다. 현재 본 연구는 상대 무술에 대한 천착을 통해서 당시의 우주론과 의례의 관계를 해명하는 작업을 진행 중이다.
