The purpose of this study is to investigate the lifestyle types of University students participating in leisure sports activities in Seoul and to research their motivation and satisfaction. The sample was obtained for 40 days from May 1st. 2006 to June 10th 2006, out of 400 copies of the questionnaire, 335 copies responded with sincerity were utilized in statistical analysis. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, the lifestyles of University students were divided into seven factors, which were also classified into three clusters. Secondly, there were almost no difference between three clusters in ``Ostentation``, ``Amotivation``, and ``Skill achievement`` while there were significant differences between three clusters in ``Improvement of feeling and conditioning``, ``Sociable``, ``Pursuit of pleasure`` and ``health strength``. Thirdly, ``Improvement of feeling and conditioning`` was the most influential factor in participants satisfaction, followed by ``Sociable`` and ``Pursuit of pleasure``, ``Technical achievement`` and ``Health strength`` in descending order respectively. Finally, ``Amotivation`` exerts a negative influence on their satisfaction whereas ``Sociable motive`` and ``Ostentation`` did not have any significant impact on their satisfaction.
