These days there are many old people in our society. So we must be interested in increasing suddenly of dementia patient.
We must examine him by dynamical method, list are made, medical insurance charge is actualized and we make it individual medical insurance charge.
Many family are troubled with dementia patient. so in order to save troubles and stress, a short-term shelter and daytime shelter are used the best.
We give them an allowance and teach them the art of nursing. And then supports will look after their patient for themselves.
From a clinical perspective, most of the dementia patients need home-maker service-i.e.. receiving various services from a home-dispatched helper
First, in order to secure and adequate number of home-maker dispatch offices and place them wisely, the already existing in-home care support centers should be utilized actively and the cooperations of related administrative organizations should be acquired for regional balanced service.
Second, in order to establish a proper cost-shaving system for the increasing demand of home-maker service, the expansion for the poverty assistance group, the further specification of the tecipients and types of subsidized service, the improvement of the existing service standards and the adoption of a social insurance system should be considered.
Third the evaluation standards for paid home-makers should be more flexibly set to reflect not only the number of elderly people in need of the home-maker service but also the intensity and contents of service demand.
