직업상담자가 인식한 진로유연성 탐색 : 경력단절 기혼여성의 재취업 과정을 중심으로 = Investigation on Career Adaptability Perceived by Vocational Counselors in Reemployment Process for the Career-Interrupted Married Women

The present research is aimed to investigate the perception of vocational counselors on ‘preparation for and attitude toward reemployment’, which in other words is the careeradaptability of career-interrupted married women. To this end, interviews and thought listing were carried out on 15 experienced vocational counselors that have been counseling the career-interrupted women for more than five years. This research utilized the concept mapping method and underwent the following research procedures; Focus-question development, generating the ideas, editing and combining idea statements, similarity classification, statistical analysis. As a result, a total of 274 idea statements were gathered from 15 experienced vocational counselors, and they were further compiled and edited into 39 statements. In addition, based on the similarity classification of the 39 statements, a concept map of 2 dimensions and 4 clusters (‘active job preparation’, ‘preparation for work.family balance’, ‘realistic willingness for reemployment’, ‘long-term perspectives’) was developed through ALSCAL multidimensional scaling and hierarchical cluster analysis (Ward’s method). This research holds significance in providing theoretical implications to the concept of career adaptability and practical suggestions on giving training to and developing educational programs for vocational counselors and career-interrupted married women.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 경력단절 기혼여성의 재취업에 필요한 진로유연성, 즉 ‘경력단절 기혼 여성이 재취업하기 위해 필요한 준비와 태도’에 대한 직업상담자들의 인식을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 경력단절 기혼여성을 대상으로 5년 이상 직업상담 업무를 수행하고 있는 숙련된 직업상담자 15명을 대상으로 인터뷰와 생각목록표 작성법(thought listing)을 실시하였으며, 개념도 연구방법을 적용하여 초점질문 개발, 아이디어 진술문 추출, 아이디어 진술문 통합 및 편집, 최종 진술문에 대한 유사성 분류, 통계적 분석 등의 연구 절차를 거쳤다. 연구결과, 숙련된 직업상담자 15명으로부터 총 274개의 진술문을 추출하였으며, 이를 최종적으로 39개 진술문으로 통합, 편집하였다. 또한 39개 진술문에 대한 연구 참여자들의 유사성 분류 결과를 바탕으로 다차원척도법(ALSCAL법)과 위계적 군집 분석(Ward법)을 실시하여, 2개 차원과 4개 군집(적극적 취업준비행동, 일-가정 병행을 위한 준비, 현실성 있는 재취업 의지, 장기적 시각)으로 구성된 개념도를 완성하였다. 본 연구는 진로유연성 개념에 대한 이론적 함의, 경력단절 기혼여성과 직업상담자 교육 및 프로그램 개발에 실질적 시사점을 제공했다는 점에서 연구의의를 찾을 수 있다.
