Cent ers for Ind epend ent Living (CILs) have been provided services to maximize the independence of individuals with disabilities and the accessibility of the communities they live in. The employment extension of the people with disabilities in the disability employment network has been discussed to improve service efficienc y among centers for independent living and the relevant agencies.
This study was to identify the awareness of the employment network for people with disabilities and the level of the employment collaboration between the centers for independent living and other agencies in which serve the employment-oriented services for the population. Total 25 cen ters for independen t living in Kyeonggi province was participated in the study using the quantitative and qualitative method: questionnaire and focus group interview. Based on the obtained results, this study provided the improvement strategies for employment networking of centers for independent living in community.
