공급사슬위험관리(SCRM)가 화주기업의 단기성과와 중⋅장기성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A study on Significant Effect of SCRM for Shipper Company’s Short-term and Long-term Performance

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기업의 경영환경이 글로벌화 되어가면서 공급사슬의 위험관리의 중요성은 날로 커져가고 있으나 기업들은 공급사슬위험관리(SCRM) 강화를 단기적인 비용의 발생으로 인지하여 투자를 꺼리는 경향이 있으며 이로 인해 공급사슬의 위험관리(SCRM)는 점차 취약해져 사고 발생 시 기업의 손실이 불가피한 현실에 놓이게 된다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구에서는 기존 연구에서는 진행되지 않았던 기업의 성과를 단기 그리고 중⋅장기로 구분하여 공급사슬위험관리(SCRM)의 강화가 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하였다. 분석한 결과, 공급사슬의 위험관리 요인들은 모두 기업의 단기적 성과에 직접 영향을 미치고 중⋅장기적 성과에는 직접 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 본 연구에서는 국내 화주기업들의 공급사슬위험관리(SCRM)에 대한 현재 수준을 조사, 분석하여 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업들이 공급사슬위험관리SCRM) 강화를 위한 투자는 비용의 측면이 아닌 기업의 성과 측면에서 매우 중요 하다는 현실적인 인식의 변화와 정책의 변화를 이끌어 낼 수 있는 연구라 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In the era of globalized business environment, companies are still reluctant to invest on supply chain risk management strategies due to increased short term costs although they are getting more and more important than ever before. This causes a highly vulnerable supply chain which entails losses and damages in case of accidents and emergency. In response to this, this study is designed to empirically identify the impact of short, mid, and long term risk management strategies on firm’s performance. The result clearly shows that supply chain risk management factors all had direct impacts on the short term performance, while those had little direct effects on the long term performance. Furthermore, this study explored and analyzed the current status of Korean shippers’ supply chain risk management strategies. It is fair to say that this study can propose several policies and changes in perception based on the original discovery which is the investment on supply chain risk management is very important in terms of enhanced level of performance, rather than the standpoint of increased costs and expenses.
