GD Sterility of Flies with In(2L)t by Hybrid dysgenesis in Natural Populations of Drosophila melanogaster in Korea = 한국 노랑초파리 자연집단에서 In[2L]t를 가진 파리의 잡종부전증에 의한 생식불임

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대전 4개의 자연 집단을 실험한 F_1 초파리 숫컷의 P인자(P factor)의 활성은 2개의 집단에서 1개체 또는 2개체가 활성인 것으로 관찰되었다. 판암동(TP)의 261 개체와 유성 집단의 280개체를 시험한 F_1 초파리 숫컷의 생식샘불임 빈도는 교잡방법 A에서 각기 0.65%와 1.30%가 발견되었다. 교잡 방법 A°로 하면 판암동 261개체와 유성 집단(TY)의 280개체를 계통 유지하여 시험한 평균 불임빈도는 각기 39.3550 과 35.6100이였다. 교잡 A와 A° 방법으로 시험한 판암동 집단과 유성 집단은 M'와 Q계통이 주로 있는 것이 조사되었다. True M계통은 4개의 집단에서 조금 나타났고, P(M)계통은 아주 드물게 나타 났다. In(2L)t를 가진 초파리의 불임 빈도는 주로 M'와 Q계통에서 나타났으나 Q계통은 3개의 집단에서 M'계통보다 더 높은 빈도로 나타났다. In(2L)t를 가진 True M의 초파리는 유성(92)집단에서 단지 1개체가 나타났고, P(M)계통은 2개의 집단에서 1개 또는 2개체가 가진 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 생식샘 불임빈도는 Q strain에서 In(2L)t를 가지지 않는 초파리보다 In(2L)t를 가진 초파리에서 조금 더 높게 관찰 되었다.

Pactivity of F_1 males tested in four populations was observed to be each one or two individual in two populations. GD sterility frequencies of F_1 males tested from 261 TP and 280 TY isofemale lines were 0.65% and 1.30% in cross A, respectively. In cross A°, the mean sterility frequencies tested from 261 TP and 280 TY isofemale lines were 39.3550 and 35.6100. TP and TY populations from crosses of cross A and A° were mainly investigated to be M' and Q strains. True M strain was lightly in four populations and P(M) strain was rare. The sterility frequency of flies with In(2L)t was mainly in M' and Q strains. Q strain was more frequent than M' strain in three populations. True M strain of flies with In(2L)t was only one individual in TY(92) population and P(M) strain was observed to be with each one or two individuals in two populations. GD sterility frequency from this study was lightly higher in flies with In(2L)t than in flies without In(2L)t in the Q strain.
