We came to the following conclusions that are drawn from the evidences collected form 8 badminton athletes (4 males and 4 females), all of whom attend primary schools in the city of Chun cheon, Kangwondo.
These evidences are informations that are gathered by measuring the intensity of play harden (time number of steps, play distance, play Velocity, pulse of heart. maximum oxygeon absorption, efficiency of heart, calorie consumption, and weight loss)
occasioned by the basic strokes and single matches.
1. In the basic strokes, Clear and Smash are shown to exert a very high level of intensity. While Drop, Hair Pin, and Drive are shown to require a averahe level of intensity.
2. Pulse of heart is a very useful measure of the intensity of play burden. This is evidenced by the fact that the game requiring strong pulse of heart also requires high level of intensity in maximum oxygeon absorption and calorie consumptions.
3. According to the game results, during the same time period, winners are shown to take smaller number of steps and to move shorter distances compared to the losers.
4. The game of badminton is likely to cause a vert high level of intensity of play burden to primary school students whether they are male or not.
