DOC-DPF system is the best for the control of NOx and PM. The present study explain
aging mode of diesel oxidation catalyst. Thermal aged catalyst was characterized the
structure and particle size by XRD, surface area by BET. LOT (light off temperature) and
generated N02 concentration are measured through activity. The area of surface and catalytic
activity decreased according to increase aging time and temperature.
