The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the latest revised 2022 physical education curricula documents from South Korea and China to examine the similarities and differences in their school physical education programs. Through this analysis, the study aims to provide basic data for the development of physical education curricula in both countries. The results are as follows. First, the 2022 revised physical education curricula of South Korea and China emphasize athletic skills and health. Second, both countries 2022 revised physical education curricula emphasize integrative thinking across subjects. Third, the 2022 revised physical education curricula of both countries place importance on tailored education that considers regional characteristics. Fourth, it is noteworthy that physical education grades are used as evaluation criteria for advancement to higher-level schools. Based on the results, discussions are suggested. In conclusion, the physical education curricula in both countries are still in their initial stages, and future research should continue to explore the issues revealed in the practical implementation of these curricula.
