The purpose of this study aimed to examine the effect of psychological burnout on loss of meaning in life among beauty industry employees. In addition, the mediation effect of job pride on the relationship between psychological burnout on loss of meaning in life. Also, the moderated mediation effect of hope among psychological burnout, loss of meaning in life, and job pride. For this analysis, x samples were collected from beauty industry employees in Seoul metropolitan area. Moderated mediation analysis with boostrapping were conducted. The findings of this study were as follows: (1) psychological burnout increased the loss of meaning in life, (2) Job pride was a partial mediator of the relationship between psychological burnout on loss of meaning in life, (3) Hope played a moderated mediator of the relationship among psychological burnout, loss of meaning in life, and job pride. The results of this study suggests that there is an association between psychological burnout and the loss of meaning in life. Also, the hope and job pride plays a positively moderated medication role the declines of loss of meaning in life by psychological burnout.
