This thesis is comparative study on the ＜Hawaii-Malay naval battle＞(1942) of the Japanese movie and the ＜love and vow＞(1945) of the Chosun movie. These movies were produced in the period of the Pacific War. And, It is these movie`s subject that a boy are to join the navy. Therefore, main character in these movies are boy. They are in a special family environment. And, They meet some person(s) who is(are) role model(s) of the themselves. However, there is variously difference also between these two movies about the main character. The main character in ＜Hawaii-Malay naval battle＞ doesn`t have father. Moreover, there are a lot of role models and colleagues. He joins the navy, and he glows representative of the his family. meanwhile, The main character in ＜love and vow＞ has parents, but they are parent-in-laws. he is to met a certain airman in navy by chance, and become a airman in navy following him. The set up of the main character in the ＜Hawaii-Malay naval battle＞ and the ＜love and vow＞ is different like this. The reason is that the situation of Japan and Chosun to the war is different at that time.
