어린이집교사의 삶의 만족도와 직무스트레스 및 대처방법과의 관계 연구 = A Study on the Relation between the Satisfaction of Life, Job Stress and Stress Management of Teachers in Child Care

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction of life, the degree of job stress and the stress management of teachers working at a nursery, and to clarify the differences and the correlations among the three variables in terms of general characteristics and some factors influencing the teachers’ satisfaction of life. Two of the nursery teachers involved in this study were selected to participate in an interview on their satisfaction of life, their job stress and their stress management. The teachers' satisfaction of life impacted both the children and the teacher at the nursery, and was found to be an important factor contributing to the higher quality of child care. For this, in that the improvement of working conditions and an increase in the efficiency of working duties result in the enhancement of the quality of life, this study would lay the foundation for teacher education.
In short, this study suggests that the change of social recognition about nursing teachers, the betterment of working conditions, the appropriate education of teachers on individualities such as newness or career and single or married, the promotion of teacher welfare and the plans for teachers’ improved relationship with their peers and the children's parents be mapped out.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어린이집 교사의 삶의 만족도와 직무스트레스 및 대처방법을 알아보고, 일반적 배경에 기초하여 이 세변인의 차이점과 상관관계 및 삶의 만족도에 영향을 주는 요인들에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 어린이집 교사 2명의 사례를 통해 삶의 만족도와 직무스트레스 및 대처방법을 알아보았다. 교사의 삶의 만족도는 교사 개인과 보육 아동에게 영향을 주며 보육의 질을 높여주는 중요한 요소이므로, 이에 관한 연구는 교사의 직무환경개선과 직무효율성증진을 통한 삶의 질의 개선이라는 측면에서 교사교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 필요한 토대를 마련해줄 것이다. 어린이집 교사의 직무스트레스를 낮추고 삶의 만족도를 높여 보육의 질을 개선하기 위한 방안으로, 어린이집 교사에 대해 보모가 아닌 교사로서의 사회적 인식 변화와 교사의 근로환경 개선, 초임교사와 경력교사, 기혼교사와 미혼교사 등 개인적 배경에 따른 적절한 교육의 실시와 교사의 복지향상이 요구되며 동료교사 및 학부모와의 관계개선을 위한 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
